The Cosmic Dome by Booking Basics is a company specialized in delivering full-dome educational shows inside our planetariums. Our planetariums are domed theaters that use the most advanced 360° projection systems to project and discuss full dome shows. These planetariums act as immersive theaters where educational and entertaining shows are displayed for students of all ages. Upon entering these planetariums, students would watch dimensional shows about different topics with a main topic of Space and Sciences! The planetarium gives a virtual trip to space and people will leave with the “awe” experience, guaranteed.
We can install a planetarium at your school and display shows for each class.
Our domes fit an average of 25 to 30 students (typical number of students in a classroom). Each show will be around 20 to 25 min long followed by discussion with the students (depending on their age). We can make the sessions shorter or longer, as needed.
A team member from the Cosmic Dome will be dedicated to the planetarium. Our team members are trained to run the planetarium and are well aware of the shows that will be displayed.
All we need is the indoor space for the planetarium (as well as an electric power of course).
We usually set up one day before the start of the event and remove the dome the same day after we finish.
7m Planetarium requires 8mx8m Indoor Space with 4.2 ceiling height. It can fit between 25 and 30 people at a time.
The cost depends on the number of students/classes that will be joining. We have shows for all age groups (KG1 till Grade 12).
